In February of 1984, Erlene Hammett, founder of L’PAIGE COSMETICS (named after her daughter Paige following the death of her late husband), discovered something that every woman had been searching for. She found an easy-to-use, beautiful, long-lasting, aloe-based lipstick which didn’t irritate the lips, dry up and cake off, or most importantly, KISS off. Trouble was, this lipstick was GREEN!
One must marvel at the bravery of those who first purchased and used the GREEN LIPSTICK. However, these trailblazers were quick to realize the benefits of this amazing product and quick to tell others about it. The GREEN LIPSTICK, when properly applied, reacts with the body chemistry of the individual, changing to a color uniquely complimentary to that person.
The GREEN LIPSTICK was later joined by YELLOW, BLUE, WHITE, BROWN, and BLACK, and has since grown to include 52 Long-Lasting amazing colors of lipsticks, as well as Blushers, Bronzers, Lip Liner Pencils, and Cosmetic Brushes, all unsurpassed in quality! Specifically, the GREEN and YELLOW LIPSTICKS are often used as a base for the other colors, increasing the “stay-on” power of the other lipsticks.
